Ammendment 41 has created some unique challenges that will change the way Colorado legislators are able to communicate with
those who understand the issues they have to vote on. This year will probably be the most difficult, as all parties attempt
to figure out what is legal and what is not, with regard to legislators obtaining information from lobbyists. The fact sheets
that used to be provided to legislators either on their desk or in the lobby appear to be a thing of the past. We at the
New Colorado Lobby believe it is important for this information to be made available to our lawmakers. They need to be able
to see all sides of an issue, and to understand more than just the "legal-eese" that is provided to them by legislative
council.
We believe that this site will provide a way for lobbyists to make information available to any legislator who desires
to access that information. No one is forced to read it, but it is there for those who would like to use it.
